Can someone please explain to me those high end new york fashion shows?
Why do all the models look like they are European, 6 feet tall, high on ***** and anorexic? And why do their clothes look like something you would pick up at a thrift store? And this is suppose to be the most prestigious presentation of clothing in the world, I don’t get it.

The models are thin and tall because that is the kind of model the designer wanted. Also, the clothes you see on the runways are not the final product that we get in the stores.

It’s called high-fashion…Couture! These are not typically clothes that ppl wear out on a just a daily basis. Almost like a masterpiece that you would not touch everday. The models…well they do look crackish but that is what Europeans love…example: Kate Moss. Some things like the models are unexplainable.

Most models are European probably because most designers are European and many (if not most) consumers of high-fashion are of European blood.
Height is subconsciously related to success. When people see taller people wearing Versace clothes, they’re more likely to aspire to those clothes than if they were worn by shorter people.
High on *****? Most models look healthy with glowing skin and shiny hair. You can’t be a model if you don’t look so healthy. If they’re made up to look heroin-chic, that’s another matter.
Skinny bodies hang clothes better then average-sized bodies.
Not all clothes look secondhand. Those that do are aiming for a certain aesthetic which isn’t appreciated by all.
